MYLO 1

Engineered to tunnel under load handling frames, AutoGuide’s low profile AGVs glide smoothly under a cart and automatically hitch via a programmable pin assembly. They then autonomously transport the load and unhitch before moving on to the next target. These compact AGVs use magnetic tape guidance to transport loads up to 4,400 pounds.

Features of AutoGuide’s Low Profile AGVs

AutoGuide’s low profile vehicles feature a modular design built from standard components and incorporate customized features that meet your unique production and handling needs. Low profile AGVs move load handling frames customized with scissor lift tables, turntables, tilt tables and roller conveyor that enhance ergonomics and increase productivity. They’ve been proven in hundreds of installations throughout North America, and reach speeds up to 200 feet per minute or 2.3 miles per hour, depending on the weight of the payload.

Productive

AutoGuide’s low profile AGVs come standard with opportunity charging, which allows your operation to run 24/7 without downtime. With opportunity charging, vehicle batteries quickly charge on the floor during routine stops for tasks such as loading and unloading. They also feature a graphical user interface with on-board event logs, troubleshooting guide and task management capability.

Low Maintenance

Equipped with standard components that are always in stock, AutoGuide’s low profile AGVs are outfitted with a variety of easy-to-maintain features, including individual circuit breakers for the drive motors, retractable cart engagement pin and RFID encoder.

Flexible

Have a production change or need to move a new product? There’s no need to change the vehicles, just the load handling frames. And when paired with an innovative, patent-pending wireless tablet, our low profile AGVs can be quickly and easily programmed remotely to follow a new path or stop at more—or fewer—destinations.

Innovative

Radio frequency identification (RFID) tags are used to direct AGVs to perform functions such as stop, go, slow and slow down. These tags can be programmed directly from the vehicles for quick installation and simple modification.

1. What is an average ROI?

Most AutoGuide™ projects have a return on investment of less than 12 months.

2. Can I lease an AGV or AGC?

Yes, leasing options are available for AutoGuide™ products.

3. How are the batteries charged?

The batteries in AutoGuide™ products are typically charged using opportunity charging stations, or they can be charged manually.

4. How much does a Low-Profile Vehicle cost?

Low profile vehicles are AutoGuide’s most inexpensive AGVs and cost less than most economy cars. These AGVs are a great deal because they are robust enough to move loads over 4,000 pounds. For specific pricing information, click here and a sales engineer will get back to you soon.

5. What is the Guidance?

Currently, our low profile vehicles are guided by magnetic tape, which is easy to install and modify. In high-traffic areas, protective tape can be placed over the magnetic strip for extra durability. For ultimate endurance, embedded magnetic bar can be used by making a small cut (less than 1/4”) in the floor for the bar, which can be epoxied over

6. Is it safe for workers?

Our AGVs meet the highest safety standards and feature a CAT 3 laser sensor, which slows down and stops the vehicles if anyone or anything steps in front of it. It is programmable allowing customers to determine the distance for slowing down and stopping. The speed of the vehicle (top speed is 2.3 mph) can also be changed to meet customer specifications. All vehicles include flashing red, amber and green lights as well as running and fault chimes.

7. Do you provide traffic control software?

Our AVINU® software provides a low-cost, efficient traffic management solution, including automatic dispatch and visual interface/monitoring. AVINU can be purchased for a low, one-time fee – no subscription or recurring fees.

8. Are there industry standards for AGVs?

ANSI/ITSDF B56.5-2012 is the Safety Standard for Driverless, Automatic Guided Industrial Vehicles. All AutoGuide™ products meet or exceed this standard.
